Assuming you're running Ubuntu
1. sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install p7zip-full
2. Navigate to where you downloaded the file
3. 7z x 'ProjectZomboid Build27.7z' -o <path>
   OR
   7z e 'ProjectZomboid Build27.7z'
4. Navigate to the extracted folder
5. sudo chmod -R +rx .

Basically, you need to unzip the file and give the extracted contents executable permissions.
